Cooling Screw Conveyor

The Cooling Screw Conveyor (also known as a Water-Cooled Screw Conveyor) is an innovative process equipment specifically developed to solve the challenges of conveying high-temperature materials. Addressing the defects of traditional screw conveyors—such as casing deformation, bearing damage, and material caking when conveying materials over 200℃—this equipment innovatively integrates a double-layer jacket or hollow screw shaft cooling system. Through efficient heat exchange between circulating cooling water (or cold air) and hot materials, it achieves stable horizontal or small-inclination (≤20°) conveying while continuously cooling the materials. It is widely used in high-temperature scenarios involving cement clinker, slag, chemical powders, metallurgical furnace charges, and plastic granules.

Efficient Heat Exchange & Precise Temperature Control
Utilizing a double-layer jacket or hollow screw blade design, the cooling medium circulates to achieve highly efficient "solid-wall-liquid" conductive heat transfer. It can rapidly cool high-temperature furnace charges (800℃-1000℃) to safe levels, preventing material caking and protecting downstream equipment.

Superior Sealing & Anti-Deformation Capability
The fully enclosed tubular or U-shaped double-layer structure prevents hot dust leakage and odor emission. Moreover, the cooling water removes heat from the casing, fundamentally solving thermal expansion and deformation issues caused by high temperatures.

Externalized Key Components & Long Lifespan
Head and tail bearing seats are placed outside the casing, utilizing high-temperature-resistant bearings and multi-layer sealing technology to minimize dust intrusion. Combined with wear-resistant liners, the equipment's lifespan in harsh conditions is significantly extended.

Integrated Conveying & Cooling
A single piece of equipment accomplishes both conveying and cooling processes, eliminating the need for additional cooling silos or air-cooling towers, thereby saving valuable workshop space and production line construction costs.
